El pasado jueves 19/10 hemos realizado, con los alumnos de sexto año ES, las prácticas a motor en las dos embarcaciones de Amgaa Yacht Club preparándonos para rendir el examen de timonel yate motor ante las autoridades de prefectura. Dicho examen los habilitará como timoneles después de los 6 años de estudio en deportes náuticos. Fue una muy buena jornada donde los alumnos pudieron compartir un momento diferente y aprender.

Plot:
Once upon a time, in a kingdom far far away, a little baby was born. Her name was Princess Aurora. Everybody joined the king and the queen in their majestic celebration. The magic fairies brought special gifts for the little girl, but Maleficent was angry because the hadn’t received an invitation, so she put a spell on the baby: Aurora would touch the needle of a spindle and sleep forever.
The magic fairies took Aurora away from the castle and they lived together in a cottage in the forest, surrounded by animals and flowers. Many years passed by, and one afternoon, when Aurora was collecting berries for her birthday cake, she met Prince Phillip, and they danced together.
Later on, when Maleficent’s helpers found Aurora, she touched the needle and fell asleep. Only Phillip could fight against the dragons and wake Aurora up, so they could live happily every after.
Argumento:
Había una vez, en un reino muy lejano, una princesa llamada Aurora. Cuando nació, todos se unieron al rey y a la reina en una gran celebración. Las hadas mágicas trajeron regalos especiales para la pequeña, pero Maléfica estaba enojada porque no había recibido la invitación, entonces hechizó a la niña: ella tocaría la aguja de una rueca y dormiría para siempre.
Las hadas mágicas se llevaron a Aurora lejos del castillo, y vivieron juntas en una casita en el bosque, rodeadas de flores y animales. Muchos años pasaron y, una tarde, cuando Aurora estaba juntando frutos para su torta de cumpleaños, conoce al príncipe Felipe y baila con él.
Más tarde, cuando los ayudantes de Maléfica encuentraron a Aurora, ella tocó la aguja y se durmió. Solo Felipe sería capaz de luchar contra los dragones y despertar a Aurora, para así vivir juntos felices para siempre.
El jueves 5 de octubre se llevó a cabo el Interhouse de atletismo 2017 en el campo de deportes del colegio. En este evento los alumnos de 4to año EP a 6to año ES, compitieron sumando puntos para sus respectivas casas.
Las categorías se agrupan de la siguiente forma:
4to año y 5to año EP
6 to año y 1 año ES
2do año y 3er año ES
4to año, 5to año y 6to año ES
El house ganador con 971 puntos este año fue LANCASTER
En segundo lugar con 770 puntos BIRMINGHAM
Tercer puesto con 633 puntos CANTERBURY
Felicitaciones a los chicos de las tres houses por su compromiso, responsabilidad y respeto que se sintió durante todo el evento.

Another year has passed, another little piece of life…but it´s not just “another year”. This is one of those moments in life that you will never forget and I´m sure you´ll make the most of it. You are the stars in this wonderful night; you are ready to shine, to show everything you have learnt throughout these years, so…enjoy it! This is not time for goodbyes yet, but we are already starting to miss you because you are just about to leave. El momento tan esperado se acerca. La Escuela Primaria está llegando a su fin y hoy Uds. van a celebrarlo sobre el escenario. Gran esfuerzo, experiencias únicas, amistades entrañables, tantas emociones encontradas que nunca olvidarán y que los guiarán hacia la Escuela Secundaria.
